Laura asked:
I would really like to become a physical therapist, I was just wondering if anyone knew how many years of schooling it took?

In the US, you must earn your master’s or doctorate level degree. The structure of each program varies, but most are designed to be completed in 6-7 years.
You must first complete a set of predetermined prerequisites (which varies between schools) which usually involves some combination of biology, physics, chem, psych, and math. If entering a DPT program, you will most likely need to complete your BS or BS prior to admission. Yet, your major does not matter, as long as your met the requirements.
I suggest going to the education section of the APTA website at: to view the list of accredited programs. From there, you can get a link to each schools program and investigate their requirements closely.
Good luck.
